About the artist
LPM (Lillian Pressnell-Manceau) is a rising alternative folk singer-songwriter based in Marquette, Michigan who places emphasis on delivering charming and distinctive performances with only a voice and a guitar.
As a self-taught musician raised in mid-Michigan, she began as an active musician in her community at talent shows and open mics before moving to the Upper Peninsula and playing music full-time in the summers. Her relentless practice and extensive performance experience culminated into the opportunity to open for Billboard 100 artist Hippocampus in 2023, a month after the release of her first EP, Burn the Breeze.
Her EP was preceded by two singles- Resin Way and Let It Be Me. Genre influences such as folk, roots, soft rock, and neotraditional country shape her music in such a way that it's difficult to recall similar artists or sounds, although lyrical influences include Father John Misty, Ethel Cain, and Quinnie. Her upcoming album releasing in spring 2024 is no different.
The release of the new album kicks off a restless summer. Join the mailing list below to be notified of upcoming shows and be sent the pre-save link for the album!
